| It's amazing how I never posted on here that I was ever engaged....Zanga was just (and still is) the last thing from my mind! But anyway, I got engaged on Christmas Eve of 2007, and MARRIED on July 12, 2008!!!!! I live in Milford, New Hampshire now with my wonderful husband Michael and super-cool cat, Huckabee. I miss Chicago. Our car can't pass NH inspection without work that will cost more than the entire worth of the car, so we don't have a car we can drive right now. All this rain is driving my sinuses crazy. But I love God and my husband, so I'll make it!!!!!

At least I know I have it now so that I can do something about it....and no one can yell at me for being too tired or groggy in the morning because there is actually a REASON for it, and it's not that I'm lazy or stayed up too late!

| Wow, I don't even know how to use Xanga anymore! how funny ANYWAY, I'm only really on here cuz Daniel said he'd put pics from Sherah's wedding on his site (get on it, bud!), so I had to find his site first, and then I figured I'd post on here just for fun. Sherah's wedding + so-totally-amazing = me crying the whole time. Yes everyone, I am a girl, and I get emotional. Shocking, I know. But really, the whole thing was perfect, and Sherah looked so amazing and her and Marty looked so so so happy...how can you NOT cry from joy?!?!  SIGH. and now I'm stressed about MY wedding because I realized how much I still have left to do in the next 15 weeks! oh well. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Amen. lol.
I'm going to bed cuz I'm exhausted from getting up at 5AM this morning (this is why I am NOT getting married before noon!!!!), so yeah. Sherah and Marty - HAVE FUN ON YOUR HONEYMOON!!!!!!!

| Happy Memorial Day in honor of: Gerald Fletcher, my grandfather ('88); Chris Alcozer, high school classmate ('05); Rory Gephart Leahy, my good friend whom I will never forget; Duane Schrode, my cousin (and his wife); Dr. Jack Hatcher, my favorite professor at CFNI; Joshua Garay, my roommates boyfriend; and to anyone else that I know who is/was in the service that I can't think of right now. I love you all and I am so proud of you.
I must have to say that I still can't believe my work (Emler Swim School) is having their first day of the summer session TODAY...I do NOT want to go to work! I really wish I was at home with my family, or at least that Michael was here instead of 1786 miles away. But then I think of the soldiers who are over-seas who haven't seen their loved ones in months, and I realize that I have it pretty good. I can wait 3 weeks. And I can be patient about it, too.
So I decided on a verse for the rest of the summer...1 Peter 2:22-23:
"He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate
when He was insulted, not threaten revenge when He suffered.
He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly."
I need to learn to act and react out of love, and leave my offenders in the hands of God, and allow Him to comfort me and give me peace and joy when I am hurt, as much as an oxymoron that may seem. God alone sees my heart and knows my thoughts, and HE will judge me fairly, and He will also extend mercy because He is just and good. Jesus is the ultimate example of loving your enemies and pushing through and remaining silent when being persecuted, and I want to be just like Him. Thank you, Jesus, for being that example and for showing me how to truly love and forgive.
